One day you could master the art of fresh pasta alongside a renowned chef in his kitchen; the next, taste olive oil where it’s been pressed for generations, sip rare vintages deep inside a private cellar, or wander through vineyards known only to locals.

Our Story
OSTE was born from a simple idea: that travel should feel like being welcomed to someone’s table.
Our founder’s story begins in Sicily, where the warmth of the Mediterranean and the rhythm of Italian life were part of everyday childhood. With an Australian mother and an Italian father, he grew up between two cultures — and at twenty, he left for Sydney, where he spent the next twelve years building bridges between them.
There, he worked with more than 300 Italian food and beverage producers — from cheesemakers and butchers to winemakers, distillers, and pasta artisans — helping their craft reach homes and restaurants on the other side of the world. It was a journey deep into the heart of Italy’s food culture: the places, people, and passions that most travellers never get to see.
In 2025, he returned home with his family — and with a mission: to share that world with others. Not the Italy of postcards and bucket lists, but the Italy that lives between them.
Yes, Rome, Florence, Venice, Cinque Terre, and the Amalfi Coast are extraordinary — and they always will be. But beyond them lies a quieter, more intimate Italy: one made of vineyard dinners under the stars, family-run farms tucked into rolling hills, and stories whispered over a glass of wine by the people who make it.
That’s the Italy OSTE invites you to discover. Each journey is hosted personally and crafted through long-standing relationships with local chefs, winemakers, artisans, and storytellers. It’s a chance to slow down, connect, and feel part of the places you visit — not just pass through them.
